Red, Pink, Black

Red, Pink, Black

Red, Pink, Black is an ever-shifting bizarre world of moving female sculptures. It is inspired by the emotionality of Mark Rothko's multiform paintings, the power and venerability of the female form, and softcore pornography having its place in modern dance. The work was largely created as solos, concentrated individuals each with their own agendas. These individuals, or colors blend together and splash apart creating a palpable tension.

Red, Pink, Black premiered in a vacant storefront, 481 Washington St. NYC, September 2013
